Boulder is an unusually dog-heavy town, so this comes up constantly — and it is the question people most often leave until the chauffeur arrives.
Do not do that. Boulder pet friendly car service depends entirely on arranging it in advance, and here is what to ask.

Service Animals Are Different
Trained service animals are not pets in law, and they travel with their handler.
Tell dispatch when you book so the right vehicle is assigned, but you are not asking permission — you are giving us information.
Guidance on what qualifies is published by the ADA. Emotional support animals are treated differently under that guidance, which is worth knowing before you travel.
Pets: Always Ask First
Never assume on the day. A chauffeur arriving to find an unexpected dog has a genuine problem — allergies in the next booking, cleaning time between jobs, and a vehicle that may be carrying a client in an hour.
Call dispatch before you book and ask directly. We will give you a straight answer about what we can accommodate for your particular trip, and if we cannot, we will say so rather than leave you to find out at the kerb.

What Makes It Easier to Say Yes
- A carrier or crate. Much simpler than a loose animal, for everyone.
- A blanket or seat cover you bring yourself.
- Advance notice. Days, not hours — it affects which vehicle is sent and how it is scheduled afterwards.
- Honesty about size. A large dog is a different proposition from a small one.
- A realistic vehicle. A crate plus luggage plus passengers usually means a van rather than an SUV.
Flying With a Pet
Airlines have their own rules, and they are stricter than ours. Check your airline’s pet policy before anything else — carrier dimensions, cabin versus hold, documentation and temperature restrictions all vary.
Denver International publishes its own guidance on pet relief areas and terminal access at flydenver.com.
Our Denver airport car service is a flat $270 per vehicle with live flight tracking, and a Denver airport car service quote is flat whatever time you land. See the airport transfer page.
The Vehicles
| Vehicle | Photo | Guests | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| GMC Yukon XL | ![]() | 6 | Rear cargo area for a crate |
| Mercedes-Benz Sprinter | ![]() | 12 | Most space for a crate plus luggage |
| Ford Transit High Roof | ![]() | 14 | Largest option |
A crate takes the space of roughly two suitcases. Factor that in when you size the vehicle — see the fleet page.
Why People Book This
Relocating. Moving to or from Boulder with an animal and a car full of belongings.
Airport runs. Flying with a pet, where a rideshare refusal at the kerb would be a genuine crisis.
Vet appointments. Particularly for someone without a car or unable to drive — our appointment page covers the human version.
Mountain trips. A dog-friendly cabin weekend, with gear and an animal competing for space.
What We Ask of You
Nothing unreasonable. Let us know in advance, bring a cover or carrier, and tell us honestly what size the animal is.
If an animal causes damage or requires cleaning beyond the normal turnaround, there may be a charge — we will tell you that upfront rather than after the fact, and it is why the advance conversation matters.
The Rate
Flat, confirmed in writing before you ride. Every Boulder car service quote covers the vehicle rather than the seat, and a flat Boulder car service rate does not change for a longer drive or a storm.
Published figures sit on our pricing page and the rate card.
Mayflower Boulder Limo Chauffeur Service Standards
Mayflower Boulder Limo is certified by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, carries the highest insurance limits in the state, and holds a ★ 4.97 rating.
Our Boulder chauffeur service runs background-checked chauffeurs with GPS fleet tracking, and every vehicle is four-wheel drive and winter-compliant year-round. Dispatch monitors COtrip through storm cycles.
A Boulder chauffeur service that tells you honestly what it can and cannot take is more use than one that says yes and sends the wrong vehicle.

Booking
Call rather than booking online for anything involving an animal. It takes one conversation and avoids every problem that otherwise happens on the day.
Give several days’ notice where you can. Every Boulder transportation service quote is confirmed in writing with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead, and a Boulder limo service booking for a longer trip or a full day runs on an hourly charter.
Ask first. It takes one call. Call (720) 474-8018 or book online.
