Everything on a shoot bends except the call time. Locations change, weather changes, the schedule slips by ninety minutes — but the crew still has to be on set at 5am.
Which makes transport one of the few fixed obligations a production coordinator cannot improvise. Boulder film and production crew transportation is about the runs that have to happen regardless.

Four Different Vehicles, Four Different Jobs
| Who | What they need | Booking shape |
|---|---|---|
| Crew | Hotel to location, before dawn | Van runs, fixed call times |
| Talent | Privacy, punctuality, discretion | Dedicated vehicle, held |
| Producers and clients | Flexibility across the day | Hourly charter |
| Arrivals | Flight-tracked airport runs | Point to point, by flight number |
Treating all four as the same booking is where productions overspend. A crew van and a talent vehicle are different jobs with different requirements.
The 4:30am Crew Run
Golden hour shoots mean pre-dawn calls, and a 5am call in Boulder means collecting crew around 4:15.
At that hour, rideshare availability is thin and a cancellation has no recovery. A pre-booked van with an assigned chauffeur, dispatched the night before, is the only version that reliably works.
Our early morning page covers why that hour behaves differently from any other.
Gear Takes the Space Crew Does Not
A fourteen-seat van carrying fourteen people has room for fourteen bags. A van carrying eight people and camera cases is a different calculation entirely.
Tell dispatch the headcount and the gear separately. Eight crew with hard cases usually needs the vehicle that would otherwise seat fourteen.
Worth saying plainly: we move people and their personal gear. We are not a grip truck or a freight service, and heavy equipment needs its own transport.
Talent Vehicles Are a Different Standard
Discretion is the requirement, and it is not an add-on.
Every Mayflower Boulder Limo chauffeur is background-checked and professionally trained. Conversations in the vehicle stay there, and nobody mentions who they drove. Mayflower Boulder Limo is certified by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, carries the highest insurance limits in the state, and holds a ★ 4.97 rating.
A Boulder limo service vehicle can be held for a single person across a full shoot day rather than shared, which is usually what a talent rider requires.

Locations Boulder County Shoots Use
Most of the obvious ones are on public land with their own access rules.
Chautauqua and the Flatirons, Flagstaff Road, Boulder Canyon, the CU campus, Pearl Street, and Rocky Mountain National Park an hour north. Permits and vehicle access are managed by the relevant authority — Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks for the city sites, and the National Park Service for the park.
Tell us the location and the access arrangement, and the vehicle is positioned accordingly. Mountain roads are a four-wheel-drive proposition from September to May, and CDOT’s traction law applies to the I-70 corridor across that window.
Put It on Account
Productions are multi-day by definition, and expensing individual rides across a crew is the wrong structure.
One invoice, cost centres by production or client, one dispatch contact for every vehicle. Set up through our corporate and executive travel page, with the detail on our corporate account page. A Boulder limo service account also covers wrap dinners and client hosting on the same arrangement.
The Rate
Flat, confirmed in writing before the shoot, with no surge, no pre-dawn premium and no meter running while a setup overruns.
That last point matters on a production. A metered fare bills you for every delay, and delays are the one thing a shoot can guarantee. Every Boulder car service quote covers the vehicle rather than the seat, and a flat Boulder car service rate makes the transport line forecastable at budget stage. Published routes sit on the rate card.
Arrivals
Our Denver airport car service is a flat $270 per vehicle, tied to a flight number rather than a clock time, tracked live and adjusted automatically. Six crew arriving together pay $45 each.
A Denver airport car service meet-and-greet at baggage claim is $135, worth it for talent or a client arriving. A Denver airport car service quote is flat whatever time they land. See the airport transfer page.
Mayflower Boulder Limo Chauffeur Service Standards
Our Boulder chauffeur service runs GPS fleet tracking and pre-trip chauffeur data on every job, and dispatch monitors COtrip through storm cycles.
A Boulder chauffeur service working production hours understands that a call time is not a suggestion, and any Boulder chauffeur service running Boulder County since 2000 knows the access roads to every location worth shooting.

Booking
Multi-day productions need two to four weeks, and longer if several vehicles are held across consecutive days.
Send the call sheet rather than pickup times — we work backwards from each call. Schedules move, and a Boulder transportation service booking is adjusted rather than rebooked when they do. Every Boulder transportation service quote is confirmed in writing, and beyond fourteen passengers a Boulder transportation service reservation runs multiple vehicles on one coordinated itinerary.
The schedule will move. The crew still arrives. Book your Boulder film and production crew transportation or call (720) 474-8018.
