Where to Go From Boulder
Peak to Peak Highway. The classic. Nederland up through the high country, with aspen stands either side and the Divide to the west. Roughly a half day with stops.

Boulder Canyon to Nederland. Shorter, closer, good for a half day when the colour has come down.
Flagstaff Road. Twenty minutes for the view over the valley. The least effort for the most immediate payoff.
Why Not Drive Yourself?

Practical Notes
- Go on a weekday if you can. Peak weekends put serious traffic on the Peak to Peak.
- Mornings have better light and fewer cars.
- Dress for altitude. Ten thousand feet in October is considerably colder than Boulder.
- Book late rather than early if you can be flexible — you will know where the colour actually is a few days out.
